| When the TranSystems construction management and inspection team arrived on the Gulf Coast post-Katrina, they slept in pick-up trucks and scrounged for gas to travel to the jobsite. Working hand-in-glove with the construction crew, they used technical innovations at every step to get the 75 miles of CSX track between Bay St. Louis, MS and New Orleans back in service in less than 90 days -- despite insult added to injury when Hurricane Rita hit during the damage assessment phase. |
